Gloria Ann McKenna

Gloria Ann McKenna, 76 of Weirton, WV, died Saturday, May 14, 2016, in Weirton Medical Center. Born October 4, 1939, in Weirton, she was a daughter of the late Nunziato and Josephine Reda Veltri. A very loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Gloria enjoyed being with her family. She especially enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren's activities. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Four Seasons and was in a card club with her Italian lady friends. She had a love for reading, and was an avid sports fan. Her favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. She is survived by her husband M. Patrick McKenna of Weirton; son John (Cindy) McKenna of Follansbee, WV; daughters Jodi (Dino) DeFilippis of Orange Park, FL, and Patti (Dan) McCune of Weirton; sisters Dolores (Tony) LaRosa and Mary Rose Spano, both of Weirton; grandchildren Devon and Patrick McCune; sister in law, Kay McKenna Sutton of Weirton; brother in law, John Edward McKenna of Las Vegas, NV and many nieces , nephews and relatives. Visitation will be held Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Reverend Father Manuel Gelido will officiate. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
