Goldie Visnic Koprivich
October 7, 1915 ~ November 26, 2002
Goldie Visnic Koprivich, 87, a resident of Seminole, FL since 1993, before moving from Weirton where she resided since 1930, died Tuesday, November 26, 2002 after a lengthy illness at Seminole Nursing Pavilion.
She was born October 7, 1915 in Amsterdam, Ohio, a daughter of the late Eli and Simica Visnic.
She was employed for 30 years, and retired from the Williams Country Club. She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church in Steubenville, Ohio and the Circle of Serbian Sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Marie Rinehart and Millicent Koval; two grandchildren Laurie Vaughn-Grantges and Peter Vaughn; and two great-granddaughters Liana Marie and Abigail Elena Grantges all of Seminole, Florida.
Friends will be received at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton from 6:00 – 8:00PM on Friday, November 29 where a Pomen will be held at 7:30PM.
Additional visitation will be held Saturday 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at the Holy Resurrection Eastern Orthodox Church, 530 North 4th Street Steubenville, OH. The Very Reverend Rade Merick will officiate. Remembrances may be made to the Holy Resurrection Eastern Orthodox Church.

Aunt Goldie was very funny. I really can’t remember a time of being with her that she didn’t have me laughing. I have very fond memories of her.
