  5. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. When someone we love dies, it’s natural to want to see that person again. Many have found comfort in the Bible’s promise of a resurrection. Notice what John 5:28, 29 says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” God gives us such a meaningful hope to look forward to. And in the meantime he also promises us to comfort us in our trials if we go to him in prayer. 2 Cor 1:3 calls him the God of all comfort. I hope this was comforting to y’all. Please go to jw.org for more information. Have a nice day.

  12. Jim, and family,
My deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad from this life to the next one in eternity. I know you really miss him and he really loved you and you loved him. If he had faith in Jesus Christ, he is now totally united with Him. Scripture says, “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. ” May you find peace in this truth. He lives on…just his physical body is dead and you will see him again one day.

Jim, I will always treasure our friendship through grade school and high school.
