hazel maslowski
Hazel Maslowski, 79, of Weirton passed away June 21, 2007 at her residence. She was born August 5, 1927 in Captina, WV, the daughter of the late Otis and Zita Gouldsberry Richmond. Her husband Pete G. Maslowski, whom she married November 20, 1947 also preceded her in death. Hazel was a homemaker and formerly worked for the Weirton Steel Corporation, the Colliers Steel Company and the US Postal Service. She was a member of the Mercy Baptist Church in Weirton. She is survived by her son Ted Maslowski and his wife Anita of Burgettstown, PA; daughters Shirley McWhorter of Wagontown, PA and Janice Maslowski of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren, Heather Fennessey, Teddi Jo Maslowski, Doug Maslowski; three great grandchildren and brothers Kenneth Richmond of Weirton, WV and Ray Richmond of Lexington, SC. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, where services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM with Pastor James Rhodes officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery, Eldersville, PA. I am sorry I won’t be able to attend any services(I’m too far away). I will keep each of you in my prayers during this sad time. You took very good care of your mother.
