Helen Carolina Mateusiak, 93, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013. Born April 21, 1920, in Hungary, Helen was a daughter of the late Steven and Isabelle Mantis Seey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Mateusiak; brother, Ernie Seey; two sisters, Isabelle Balint and Irene Lucas; and son-in-law, David Lee Weekley. Helen was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, West Street, Weirton. Surviving are her two daughters, Carole Weekley of Weirton and Barbara Ann Francis (Gary) of Las Vegas, NV; Grandson, David Lee Weekley II (Rebecca) of Chester, WV; Granddaughter, Holly Lynn Peters (Robert) of Las Vegas, NV; and two great grandsons, Augustus and Logan Weekley. Friends will be received Wednesday from 11AM until time of the 1PM funeral service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Interment will follow at the Paris Cemetery, Paris, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Animal Shelter, 715 Gas Valley Road, New Cumberland, WV 26047.

  4. Sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She always had a kind word for me when I visited Weirton. My family will miss her, my renters will miss her but most of all the birds will miss her. She lasted two more years then my dad, I feel your grief and sorrow. May God Bless your entire family!
