Helen Horvath

Helen Horvath, 87, of Havelock, North Carolina, formerly of Weirton, died Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at the Brithaven Nursing Home in Havelock.
She was born on July 6, 1917 in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late John and Sophie (Ryzgiewicz) Petroski. Helen was also preceded in death by her husband Michael Horvath, three brothers, Joe, Stanley and Charles Petroski; and a sister, Blanche Sacs.
Helen was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her two sons Robert Horvath and his wife Lynn of Weirton and Michael Horvath and his wife Cheryl of Houston, TX; a daughter Marion Pilot and her husband Robert of Havelock, NC; one brother Rudy Petroski of Beech Bottom, WV; seven grandchildren, Thomas Patrick, Michael and Sean Whitlatch, Debra Godstalk, Robert (Horvy), and Melissa Evans and ten great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11AM Friday, October 29, 2004 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
