Helen I. Kerns

Helen I. Kerns, 74 of Weirton, died Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at her residence. She was born on August 9, 1927 in McFarland, WV, the daughter of the late Cecil and Clarie Furr Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth K. Kerns; a son Kenneth Dale Kerns; a daughter Katherine I. Kerns and two brothers, Dale and Carl Jenkins. Helen was a homemaker,Catholic by faith and a member of ARRP. Helen is survived by one daughter, Lisa Barnhart, and her husband Emery of Weirton. She has two sister, Bonnie Dyer and Margaret Lynch of Cleveland, Ohio. She has 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, where services will be held Friday at 12:00Noon. Interment will be at Paris Cemetery, Paris, Pa.
