Helen Mihaly

Helen Mihaly, 76 , of Weirton passed away Saturday November 11, 2006 at her home. She was born on May 20, 1930 in Weirton, WV, the daughter of the late John and Mary Knapik Mihaly. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John William Mihaly, and a sister, Margaret Mihaly. Helen was a member of Saint Nicholas Church in Weirton. She has volunteered at the Salvation Army office in Downtown Pittsburgh, since her retirement after 27 years from Westinghouse Electric Corporation in 1990. She is survived by a sister, Irene Kiselica of Columbiana, OH; a niece Daria Kiselica, and her children, Michael and Larisa of Charlottesville, VA; two nephews, Paul Kiselica, his wife Jill, and two daughters, Lindsay and Megan of North Lima, OH, Gregory Kiselica, his wife Kelli and two sons, Colton and Kade of Williamstown, WV There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday at the Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church. Very Rev Theodore Shomsky will preside. Interment will follow at the Saint Nicholas Cemetery, Weirton.
