herbert rohall
Herbert Rohall, 90, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019 with his Dear Heart, Mary, by his side. He was born February 5, 1929 in Weirton, a son of the late Michael and Mary Lesko Rohall. He was also preceded in death by his brothers William and Michael Rohall and sisters Helen Rankin, Mary Rohall, Anne Kuzemka, Julie Rohall and Pauline Rohall. Herb received his BS degree from Steubenville University and his Master of Arts Degree from Duquesne University. Until his retirement, he served as Superintendent of Human Resources for Weirton Steel. He was a member of St. Nicholas Church and WSX 25-Year Club. Herb thoroughly enjoyed his college years and political sciences. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He is survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday 4 – 8 pm at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday. Father Andrew Nelko will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Weirton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Weirton Salvation Army, 794 Cove Road, Weirton, WV 26062.   2. When I think of Herb, I distinctly see him walking across the driveway with Dustin! No matter what was happening, snow, sleet, rain or hail never stopped their walks! As soon as Dustin would see him come in the door , he would get all excited and would bother him to take him out! He NEVER let him down! He was a very good man! I’m sure Dustin was waiting for in on the other side of the gate! Sweet dreams Herb!
