Ida Erna Mowtschan

Ida Erna Mowtschan, 84, of Weirton, died Thursday, August 16, 2001 at the D & D Personal Care Home in Weirton. She was born on July 10, 1917 in Ukraine the daughter of the late Yakob and Elizabeth Wolf Bohm. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 7 sisters. Ida was a teacher in Europe and a homemaker. She was a member of ET Weir Seniors, AARP, Women of the Moose, Teutonia Mannachor of Pittsburgh and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, Ivan of Weirton, whom she was married to for 54 years, one son; Victor of Duxbury, Massachusetts, 3 daughters; Mrs. William (Lina) Pascoli of Pittsburgh, PA, Mrs. Andrew (Ericka) Guz and Linda Mowtschan and her fiance Ronald Blanc all of Weirton, and 7 grandchildren; William C., Mark and Lisa Pascoli, Alison and Kelly Mowtschan and Andrew E and Thomas Ivan Guz. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton. Funeral services will be Saturday 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church.
