Inez Lela Poplowski of Steubenville, passed away unexpectedly at the Weirton Medical Center on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. She was 69 years old. On August 7, 1951, she was born in Steubenville, OH, a daughter to the late John and Betty Lee Rinehart Britton. Her family would always laugh when the great-grandchildren were mentioned, "I'm not old enough to be called "great-grandma," she said, so they can call me GiGi." In addition to her parents, Inez was preceded in death by husband Adolph Joseph Poplowski, Jr., who died February 9, 2013, and infant son, Adolph Joseph Poplowski, III, who died March 30, 1971, granddaughter Kayla Renee Poplowski, son-in-law Kevin Kocher. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. She will be remembered with love by her daughter Kris Kocher, son William (Angie), both of Steubenville, grandchildren Siarra Donahue, Jessica Kocher, Stephanie (Leon) Levy, Austin Morris, William Poplowski Jr., Ashley Poplowski, and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Arralee, Derek, Skyler, Leon, Axel, and Logan. Visitation will be Saturday, March 20, 2021, from 6 pm until the time of the 8 pm service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Pastor James Rhodes will officiate.
