Jack Henderson

Jack Henderson, 70, of Weirton, died Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born May 12, 1931 in Tyler County, WV, a son of the late Benjamin and Arlie (Deulley) Henderson. He was also preceded in death by a son, Randy Eugene Henderson, and two brothers, Howard and Harold Henderson. Jack retired from Airco Industrial Gases where he worked as a truck driver. He was a member of the Weirton Heights Church of Christ and West Liberty Lodge # 26 AF & AM. Jack is survived by his wife, Betty June (Minger) Henderson of Weirton, whom he married on December 19, 1955; two daughters, Connie Matthess and her husband Roger of Chester, WV, and Debbie Henderson of Weirton; three sisters, Alta Ruth Eddy and her husband Gilbert of Middlebourne, WV, Phyllis Ice and her husband Ray of Paden City, WV, and Dorothy Voyt of Canton, OH; and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be 7-9 PM Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 Friday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Additional visitation will be Saturday from 10 AM until time of services at 2 PM at the Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne, WV. Burial will follow at Middlebourne Cemetery, Middlebourne.
