Jacqueline Mae Beatty, 74, of Pittsburgh, PA formerly of Weirton, WV died Monday March 20, 2006 at the Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Jackie was born on January 16, 1932 in Steubenville, OH to the late Edward H. and Elizabeth Mae Stivenson Boyer. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Leslie Beatty in 1969 Jackie retired from United Bank Weirton after 32 years of service, where she worked as a bookkeeper and later as a telephone receptionist. Most of all she will be remembered as a very good hard working mother. When she lived in Weirton she attended the First United Methodist Church. Jackie loved to play BINGO. She enjoyed sewing especially embroidering, and after moving to Pittsburgh two and a half years ago, Jackie was a member of Life Pittsburgh. She is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen Dempsey of Logan Township, NJ, Peggy and Bob Corbett with whom she resided, and Barbara and Paul Krzywdik of Freeport, OH; her sister, Karen and John Zak of Pittsburgh, PA; ten grandchildren and one great grandson. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, where funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday. Pastor Chuck Jerman, Jr. will preside.
