Jacquelyn "Joyce" Rzepka
January 18, 1936 ~ January 19, 2020
Jacquelyn “Joyce” Rzepka, 84, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 in the Wyngate Senior Living Community, Weirton. She was born January 18, 1936 in Holliday’s Cove, WV, a daughter of the late William Joseph and Delia Mae Holland Bainbridge. She was also preceded in death by her husband Stephen Pete Rzepka on July 10, 2019 and sister Beverly Wern.
Joyce was a homemaker, a member of Point Pleasant United Methodist Church in New Cumberland, attended Paris Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Weirton Chapter 147 Order of the Eastern Star. She loved planning parties for her family and friends. On Sunday, she celebrated her birthday with her family. Minutes after her family had gone, she was unexpectedly reunited with her husband and continued her birthday with him in heaven. They had always shared their birthday celebrations with each other.
She is survived by her son John William (Sharon) Rzepka; daughter Delia (John) Egan all of Weirton; grandchildren Kara (Dean) Channels, Emily Egan, Stephanie (Michael) Egan-Schantz, Lynette (Brian) Williams and Meshell Masters; nine great-grandchildren and sister Florence Carson of Reston, VA.
In honoring Mrs. Rzepka’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Professional services were provided to the family with the guidance from Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV.

Dear DeeDee, John, Bill, Sharon and family, we are deeply saddened by Joyce’s passing but take comfort that she and Steve are together with Christ now. We very much enjoyed being neighbors of Joyce and Steve and sharing worship and Sunday school with them at Paris Presbyterian Church. May God bless you all with wonderful memories of them both.
