Jean Ann Irvin
February 22, 1929 ~ June 29, 2019
Jean Ann Irvin, 90 of Weirton, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. Born February 22, 1929 in Weirton she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Pula Gabia. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jack B. Irvin, sister Florence Duckworth; half -sister Sophie Rambis and half -brother Leon Gabia.
Jean worked as a homemaker. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, oil and water painting, playing cards at the Senior Center and volunteering at Weirton Medical Center.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church where she volunteered her time baking. She was also a member of the St. Johns Quilting Club and the Pleasant Valley Country Club.
Jean is survived by her son Mark Irvin of Colliers; grand daughter Amanda (Ryan) Irvin-Pulice of Great Falls, VA; step-grandson Aaron Schons; half- sister Evelyn Stasko of Weirton and sister in law Carol Gabia of New York.
Per Jeans wishes there will be no visitation. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Jack, at St. Johns Cemetery, Colliers, WV, at the convenience of the family.

Mark, So very sorry to hear of your wonderful mom’s passing. She was the sweetest and best neighbor we could ever ask for! I’ve really missed her since she’s been in the nursing home. I’ll never forget the delicious homemade peach pie (from her peach tree) that she made for us! Well, she is in heaven now golfing with your dad!
