Jerry "JD" Daniel Jones, 45 of Follansbee, WV, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at his home. Born January 29, 1971, in Weirton, WV, he was a son of Jerry and Joanne (Hayes) Jones of Follansbee, WV. Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas and Sue Jones and Dan and Mary Hayes and his uncle Danny Hayes. Jerry was a project manager at Lombardi Development. Jerry enjoyed riding quads with his son Jake. He was an avid San Diego Charger fan and also enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pirates. In addition to his parents, Jerry is survived by his son Jacob "Jake" Jones of Follansbee; sister Laurie Ann (Darl) Ferguson and brother James Jones, both of Weirton, WV; niece Danielle Quickle of Pittsburgh, PA., and former wife Tracy Cipriani Kasper of Follansbee Visitation will be held on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM. Father Biju Devassy will officiate. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made at the discretion of the donor's choice.   1. It is with my sincere deepest sympathy to Jake and the entire family in the loss of a father, son, brother inlaw and friend. What a shock and tragedy. He was so young. I pray for God’s loving arms to wrap around you at this time to give you strength and peace.

As a great friend for over 25 years, I was so glad to tell everyone my good friend is helping everyone in the community have a great place to be proud of.
