John Andrew Teresh, 68, of Weirton, passed away Monday, February 7, 2010. John was born on November 26, 1942 in Weirton, the son of the late John and Mary Jaskiewicz Teresh. He was also preceded in death by his wife Celeste Sinicropi Teresh and sister Catherine Teresh Dobosz. With 33 years of service, John retired from Weirton Steel, where he worked in the Tin Mill. He was a life-long member of the Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church. He was also a member of the I.S.D.A. Weirtonian Lodge and WSX 25-Year Club. John was a classic car and model car enthusiast and a former member and officer of the Chuck Yeager Model Club. Mr. Teresh is survived by his daughter Tonia Teresh of Walnut Creek, CA and sisters Josephine Teresh and Mary Ann Henderson both of Weirton. In keeping with John's wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be celebrated 10am Monday, March 14, 2011 at Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Three Springs Cemetery, Weirton. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Post Office Box 2247, Weirton, WV 26062.
