Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I am so sorry for your loss…. He was a kind and caring man with a huge smile…Keep all the amazing memories he has left till you meet again…. May he rest in peace……….Much love…

  2. Aunt Dolly, Brock and Tina- I am so sorry for the loss of Uncle John. He was the kindest of soul and it was a privilege being his niece. I cherish the memories I had with him. The times we spent together at grandma Flo’s house, the birthday parties, and visits were always special. Even back in the day when $5 was the standard to give at children’s birthday parties, Uncle John always put $10 in the card because that was just who he was. I still laugh at how him and Mom would calm grandma down when she was being overly cautious and not letting us kids go beyond the porch on Lincoln Avenue for fear we would get hit by cars and be abducted and when we were rough housing chasing each other around her house. When mom told me the news, my first vision was Grandma, Uncle Bob, Uncle Larry, Pap Tom and billy Joe all waiting to welcome him with open arms. Sending my love, Kelly

  3. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. When someone we love dies, it’s natural to want to see that person again. Many have found comfort in the Bible’s promise of a resurrection. Notice what John 5:28, 29 says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” God gives us such a meaningful hope to look forward to. And in the meantime he also promises us to comfort us in our trials if we go to him in prayer. 2 Cor 1:3 calls him the God of all comfort. I hope this was comforting to y’all. Please go to jw.org for more information. Have a nice day.

  4. Aunt Dolly and Brock, i send my love sympathy. I was in disbelief when Aunt Molly called and told my Mom. When I would call home I would always ask how you two were. Uncle Johnny reminded me so much of my Dad
They looked so much alike. Seeing proceeded by, and having my dads namme there brings back that day like it was yesterday. When we were little and would run into uncle john, he would alqays sneak and give us money so Dad wouldnt kknow. I havent seen u guys since justins grad party right after my Dad passed.im flad i waa able to see you guys and catch up. My deepest sympathy and condolances . With love michelle (Talbott) Kanku, Claude Kanku and Nathalie Kanku
