  3. Davis family, So sorry about the passing of your father. Before moving to Virginia three years ago I was also a life-long resident of Weirton and a long time member of Cove Presbyterian. John was always one of my favorite people in the church. He always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye as if to say “I know you are up to something, and I would rather not know what it is or please include me”. He was really a great person. Take care of Tim.

  4. Connie, Tim, and John: As I informed John last night on the phone, we will be unable to make it to Weirton on Saturday. Uncle John was my favorite and now will be reunited with Aunt Toots. Praise the Lord! And all of us will reunite in the future in His house! Our sincerest sympathy, Mel, Sandy, and Eli II Pesuit

  5. Chuck and I were so sorry to read of Mr Davis’s death. We want to express our sympathy to your family. We will miss his smiling face each Sunday at Cove. We have admired his tenacity these last years. Chuck and Linda Edwards Caleffie

  6. Dear Friends, Terry and I were saddened to receive a call from friends in Weirton telling us about your dear dad’s passing. We have many pleasant memories of him during our years in Weirton and especially at Cove Church. How faithful and committed he was to his God and Church, and how proud he was of you all. May it comfort you to know we are keeping you all in our prayers.Take Care–Jan and Terry Stoops
