john plaso
John S. Plaso, 70, of Weirton, WV, passed away, Sunday, October 15, 2017, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA . Born February 17, 1947, in Steubenville, OH, he was the son of the late John J. and Irene Domolewicz Plaso. John worked as a salesman at Joseph A. Banks for over 15 years. Prior to that, he worked at National Steel for 21 years in the research and development center. When John wasn’t golfing or fishing, you could always find him doing outside work, watching a Pirate game or spending time with his friends at Old Oak Gas Station. He is survived by his wife Lolita “Snookie” Rodriguez Plaso, with whom he celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June; sons Michael Plaso (Shandel) of Weirton and Stephen Plaso (Nancy) of New Philadelphia, OH, and grandson Shain Livada. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 18th, 4-8 pm at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
