John S. Plaso

John S. Plaso, 70, of Weirton, WV, passed away, Sunday, October 15, 2017, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA .
Born February 17, 1947, in Steubenville, OH, he was the son of the late John J. and Irene Domolewicz Plaso.
John worked as a salesman at Joseph A. Banks for over 15 years. Prior to that, he worked at National Steel for 21 years in the research and development center.
When John wasn’t golfing or fishing, you could always find him doing outside work, watching a Pirate game or spending time with his friends at Old Oak Gas Station.
He is survived by his wife Lolita “Snookie” Rodriguez Plaso, with whom he celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June; sons Michael Plaso (Shandel) of Weirton and Stephen Plaso (Nancy) of New Philadelphia, OH, and grandson Shain Livada.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 18th, 4-8 pm at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV.

I worked with John at the Plaza Men’s Shop. He was always helpful and a lot of fun to work with. My deepest condolences to his family. Rest In Peace John.
Snookie, sorry to hear of John’s passing away, I have many memories of John from working with him at the Plaza Mens’ Shop. One great guy.

Mr. Plaso was always so kind-hearted ❤️ He knew everyone’s name and always took the time to talk. The video was so beautiful to watch – lovely to see Grandma Plaso as well. Your family was blessed with such a warm spirit — wishing your pain is lessened by the joy he left.
