John "Sonny" H. Boni

John “Sonny” H. Boni, 77, of Steubenville, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. Born March 24, 1941 in Steubenville, he was a son of the late John and Linnie (Owens) Boni. He was also preceded in death by his wife Bonita “Bonnie” Boni; long term companion Sheila Ziarko and brother Mario Boni. Sonny retired from Wheeling-Pitt Steel where he worked on the production line in the coal strip for 44 years. He is survived by his son John (Melissa Thompson) Boni of Steubenville; daughters Tracie (Bill) Irwin of South Carolina and Shanta (Brian) Rohr of Columbus, OH; grandchildren Izel, Mackenzie, Delia, Madison, Amber, Andrea, Katie, Noah, Megan and Morgan; brothers Sam Boni of Steubenville and Howard Boni of Arizona and sisters Kitty Lenko of Hopedale, PA, Toni Armentrout of Scio, OH and Margie Dughi of Toledo, OH.
