Joseph Mayerich, III

Joseph Mayerich, III, 72, of Weirton died Friday, November 29, 2019, at his home. Born on February 20, 1947, in Steubenville, OH, Joseph was a son of the late Joseph and Mamie Sciarrino Mayerich, II. He was also [preceded in death by his brother, John Mayerich. Joe worked at Weirton Steel, and later in his career was the owner and operator of The Dinor, in Weirton. Joe enjoyed golfing, traveling, and cooking. He will always be remembered for his ability to debate his opinion with others. Joe is survived by his two sons, Joseph James Mayerich of Bangkok Thailand, and Jeffrey Michael Mayerich of Honolulu, Hawaii; and his sister, Maryann Montani of Saint Louis, MO. According to Joe’s wish, his body was donated to the West Virginia University Gift Registry. Local arrangements were under the care of the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
