Joseph V. Corso, 82, of Weirton, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, in the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH.
A son of the late John and Agnes Florian Corso, Joseph was born May 9, 1936 in Steubenville, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Amelia Pelliccone Corso on March 19, 2005.
Joe was a bricklayer, having worked out of the Bricklayers Union.
He is survived by his sons, Scott Corso (fiancé Heather Metz) of Huntington, WV and Jim (Johna) Saltsman of Steubenville; daughters, Annette (Carl) Heisler of Richmond, OH, Debra (George) Potkrajac of Toronto, OH and Michela Mensch of Florida; brothers, John Corso of Weirton and Angelo Corso of Annapolis, OH; and sisters, Rose McMillen and Aggie Corso.
9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Monday 1 pm until the time of the memorial service at 2:30 pm, at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Pastor James Rhodes will officiate.
