Josephine Ann Orenzuk, 83, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born May 4, 1922 in Weirton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Tina Marino. Josephine was also preceded in death by her husband Peter M. Orenzuk on April 19, 1982, brothers James, Anthony, Charles and Billie Marino and sister Anne Marino. Josephine was the former owner of Modern Music Service and Jo’s Drive-In Restaurant in Weirton. She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, St. Paul Altar Society, St. Paul Christian Mothers, National AARP, Local Chapter #3846 AARP, Brooke County Democratic Women’s Club, Italian Sons & Daughters of America Weirtonian Club #183, Weirton Women of the Moose Chapter #746 and Three Score Senior Club. She was Past Recording Secretary for the Weirton Womans Club where she also served as Past Chairman & Treasurer for the Garden Department. She also served as Past President and Treasurer for the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 2716. Josephine’s survivors include her daughter Barbara Casto and her husband Homer of Harker Heights, TX; brothers Nat “Sonny” Marino and William “Cooch” Marino both of Weirton; sisters Carolyn Malesky and her husband Amel of Steubenville, OH, Darlene Sessi and her husband Thomas of Burgettstown, PA and Rosalie K. Marino of Weirton, two grandchildren Michael and Shelly Casto and great grandchildren Michaela and Brandon Casto all of Harker Heights, TX. The family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
