Josephine Bobalick

Josephine Bobalick of Weirton passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Brightwood Center of Follansbee, She was 99 years old.
Josephine was born in Weirton, WV, March 5, 1921, to Joseph and Anna Urich Monski.
She married Joseph Bobalick on September 26, 1941, having the blessings of two daughters.
Josephine was a homemaker throughout her life, and as her granddaughter, Paula Newburn, stated, “A Big Time Bowler!” Showing off her skill in Weirton at Holiday Lanes.
In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her husband on July 25, 2007, and daughter Rachel Bobalick on February 14, 2014.
Josephine will be remembered with love by her daughter, Barbara Campbell of Weirton whom she had an excellent mother-daughter relationship; her granddaughter, Paula (Brian) Newburn of Denver, NC, grandsons Michael Campbell of North Carolina, Jeffrey Campbell of Wintersville and her great grandchildren, Kiley Campbell and Gabriel Newburn and Anthony, Joey, Liam, and Conor Campbell.
A private graveside burial took place Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens.

I bowled with Josephine years ago when St. Nicholas had a team — she ALWAYS made it so much fun! Loved to see her and Joe when they shopped at Kroger’s (he always had a joke or two!) Well, they’re together again, along with Rachael… May her Memory be Eternal! Chris (Lengyel) Greco
