Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Uncle David and Aunt Linda, what perfect words for Josh! You’re all just such good people, and this encompasses it beautifully. Good people raise good people. You’re good people. My heart continues to break for you as I can only guess things you’re going through. I wish we’d hung out more after the kids were small, though I know life happened, and it was so great watching them play together at grandma Saturday’s. We have always talked about how Josh would pop Trey off the air mattress 🙂 We just love you guys all, and would give most anything to take this from his parents, kids, Tammie, grands, aunt Kay, and all the loved ones in shock and pain right now.

  2. Linda, so saddened to hear of the loss of your son. May your memories get you through this time of sorrow.

  3. Josh was my best childhood friend, my protector, my forever guardian angel, such an amazing teddy bear guy in a big bear body. All he ever wanted was to share his love and be loved in return! He taught me how to ride my big girl bike – held onto it and ran with me until I was ready for him to let go. He’d collect rocks with me and teach me anything he learned to further protect me! He walked me back to my apartment when there was a huge scary coyote staring at me across the road – the memories go On for years. I love you bubba. Watch over us fly high and fly fast We used to paintball together

  4. To my Big Boy Josh, who I loved very much. Thanks for being my buddy all these years. Aunt Kay will see you soon.

  5. Joshie: you should not be gone before David and Linda. You should not be gone so young. You should NOT BE GONE! David and Linda: my heart is breaking for you. I am so, so sad for you. Josh is one of the good guys and this world is not the same without him. I love you guys and grieve for you both. Karen

  6. David and Linda: Thanks for sharing Josh with me for 32 years. I really enjoyed him alot as we grew up together. When his Grandma Betty died, I wanted to show him another person who would love him like she would have. I’ll never forget the times when you all came to my house and Kim and all of them would come over with Trey and Cassi and they had so much fun together. I’ll never forget the many trips we took to TJ’s for breakfast, and all the jobs that Josh and David would come up to do for me. And David, remember when you would get ready to leave, Josh would hide in the bathroom because he didn’t want to go home. And the last word I remember Josh telling me, when he and Tammie were up here when they were ready to leave, he put his arms around me and said “Aunt Kay, hang on til 100,” and I’m trying hard for all of you. Love you all. Aunt Kay

  7. Linda and family, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as well as Joshua’s family and friends. My Joshua find eternal rest and may God watch over his family.

  8. Josh was a big part of the Greenbrier neighborhood and always was a welcomed smile and pleasant person with my parents . He will be missed by all! Rest In Peace. The Gilbert Family

  9. Prayers for the family. I loved having Josh as a student. You are loved and missed. Thinking of everyone.

  10. We are so very sorry for your loss. The memories of our families and kids growing up together stay with us. Much love to you all. ❤️
