joshua trinkle
Joshua Michael Trinkle of Charleston, WV., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at the Charleston Area Medical Center. He was 46 years old. Joshua was born on Saturday, December 7, 1974, in Steubenville, OH, to James Leonard and Cynthia Petrovich Trinkle. A 1993 graduate of Magnolia High School in New Martinsville, Joshua worked most recently as a golf technician. Still, his friends knew him as a white water rafting guide throughout Southern West Virginia. He lived a full life and had many epic adventures. He was kind-hearted and was always willing to help others, but most of all, Joshua tried not to take life too seriously. He loved many things and was not shy about sharing his passion for them; smart and caring. Joshua was an avid golfer, known for making his golf clubs in his man cave, known as the “Bogey Hole.” He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and ice hockey. One of his greatest joys was the connection he had to his cats, all eight of them: Taddy, Louie, Boris, Sila, GoGo, Boston, Agnes, and Finn. Joshua was preceded in death by his father, James Leonard Trinkle. Left behind to cherish his memory is his mother, Cynthia Petrovich Trinkle Steinman; his fiancé,’ Vivian Workman, the love of his life for more than 23 years; his step-mother Sandra Coleman Trinkle; his special cousin, Ashley Haun and a never-ending list of friends who always knew him as a good guy. Visitation will be Monday, March 8, 2021, from 11 am until 1 pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Entombment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.
