Judy Ann Simich,40 of Weirton died Saturday, February 10, 2001 as a result of post operative complications at the Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born on Friday August 19, 1960 in Weirton, WV, the daughter of the late Walter Swearingen and Connie Semenick Bish, who resides in Weirton. Judy Worked as a crossing guard for the children of Edgewood School for 14 years. Judy is also survived by her husband Stanley Simich, Jr and their 2 daughters Natalie and Ashley of Weirton. Her step mother Doris Swearingen of Weirton; a brother, Walter Lee Swearingen of Weirton; a half brother Ron Swearingen of Marblehead Mass; a step brother Michael Mogyoros of Weirton; 2 sisters, Mrs. George (Kathy)Burton of Richmond, OH and Vickie Bish of Weirton, WV; a step sister Diana McEwen of Toronto, OH and 3 sisters in law, Bertha and Martha Simich both of Weirton and Susan Moore of Weirton and a brother in law Adam Simich of Weirton, WV, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Visitations will be 7-9 PM Sunday and 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1PM with the Very Reverend Rade Merick officiating.
