katherine cacace
Katherine M. Cacace, 78, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born October 17, 1929 in Bertha, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Antoinette Bonacci Gubitti. Katherine was also preceded in death by her sisters, Thelma Pack, and Teresa M. Wilson. Katherine was a homemaker, a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and the St. Paul Christian Mothers. Katherine is survived by her husband Fred J. Cacace of Weirton; son Fred V. Cacace and his wife Marietta of Fairfax Station, VA; daughter Valerie Truax and her husband Steven of Weirton; brothers Santo Gubitti and his wife Mary of Weirton, Andrew Gubitti and his wife Janette of Leesburg, GA, John Gubitti and his wife Michelle of McDonald, PA and Joseph Gubitti and his wife Linda of Roseville, MI; sisters Florence Scarfo and her husband Roy, Frances McAndrews all of Weirton and Christina Novak and her husband Tom of Roseville, MI; one granddaughter Alyssa Cacace and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Saturday at St. Paul Church. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
