Kathleen C. "Kitty" Ferrelli

Kathleen C. "Kitty" Ferrelli, 89, of Weirton, WV, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Weirton Medical Center, Weirton. Born January 8, 1925 in Holliday's Cove, WV, she was a daughter of the late Leo Angelo and Rosa Marzona Cimino. She was also preceded in death by her husband Frank "Fudgie" Ferrelli on June 16, 1990 and daughter Kristine Ann Nega on February 6, 1992.
Mrs. Ferrelli was a homemaker, a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and a very active life member of the Weirton Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary. Kitty was also a member of the Four Seasons Seniors and enjoyed being a member of several card clubs. She always loved spending time with her many friends, who will always remember her for her amazing sense of style.
Kitty is survived by her daughter Margaret "Maggie" O'Brien and her husband Joseph of Clinton, PA; sister Margaret "Peggy" Masserio of Fredonia, NY; grandchildren Joseph Fagan O'Brien, Erin Frances O'Brien-Ivanchan and Ellen Kathleen O'Brien.
In accordance with Kitty's wishes, there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Grade School, 140 Walnut Street, Weirton, WV 26062.

Condolences to all of you from the Horvath family. Kitty was an amazing lady. She (and Fudgie) were good friends with our Aunt Annie & Uncle Chuck Locascio so we saw them a lot especially between the 1960’s and 80’s. Since then, we’d run into Kitty whenever we were back in Weirton visiting. It was always good to catch up with her. She’s now reunited with Fudgie and Kris. May they all rest in peace.

Dear Margaret and Family, We were so sorry to hear of your beautiful Mom’s passing ~~~ she was one of my Mom’s (Helen Nichols) friends, years ago, before her passing ~~ I know you have many wonderful memories of Kitty and I hope they will comfort you until you meet again.
