Kathryn Vance

Kathryn Vance, 86 of Weirton died Thursday February 22, 2001 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born Wednesday April 1, 1914 in Marianna, PA a daugher of the late Michael and Dorothy Zinaich. She was also preceded in death by 5 brothers: John, Eli, Anthony, Pete and Nick Zinaich, and 2 sisters: Yelika Miskovic and Stella Maxwell. Kathryn was the former owner of Mary Ann’s Dry Cleaners from 1948 to 1976. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church and AARP. Kathryn is survived by her husband Daniel J. Vance whom she married Oct. 30, 1949, 2 daughters: Nancy Vance Jacobs and her husband Joseph of Avella, PA and Dana Vance Gauthier and her husband Frank of Manhattan, NY. 2 brothers: Joseph of Weirton and Mike of Dayton, OH and 3 sisters: Mary Pyles of Dundalk, MD, Ann Whitehorn of CA, and Sally Visnic of Weirton. Visitations will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Additional visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 AM to time of service at 11:00 AM at the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church, 528 N. 4th Street, Steubenville, OH. Interment will be in the Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church Cemetery, Steubenville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church.
