Kevin Arden Williamson of Weirton passed away at Trinity Medical Center after a lengthy illness on May 11, 2022, He was 61 years old. Kevin was born in Steubenville on May 15, 1960, the only child born to the late Robert and Norma Crisorio Williamson. He nourished his faith at Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church and was a 1978 graduate of Weir High School. He retired from the former Weirton Steel as a laborer. He furthered his education after his retirement at West Virginia Northern in Weirton receiving a certificate in fiber optics. Kevin had many interests in life, he enjoyed cooking, traveling, cheering for Weir High as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers, and being a season ticket holder for WVU football, but most of all he enjoyed the company of his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his stepmother, Bettie Barney Williamson. Remembering Kevin fondly with love and admiration are his close cousins Marlene and Marci Lee, Sheila DeLaurentis, Joanie Patterson (Frank) Velto, Dr. Gary (Michelle) Patterson, as well as many other family members and remarkably close friends Leslie and Randy Rumora and Diana Ladomersky. Kevin's request for cremation has been honored. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 5 PM until 7 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Inurnment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.   10. Kevin I’m going to miss you. We met in 3rd grade both as new students at Cove Elementary. We became close friends through high school. We were in cub scouts together and I even went on a family vacation with you. I left Weirton to go to college and never came back except to visit but we remained friends. You visited me in Charlotte and Mechanicsburg. We wen to the Bahamas, weekend getaways to Chicago and Baltimore, a few WVU bowl games, and more. You were in my wedding and became my son’s godfather. I am going to miss you. RIP.
