Larry Gene Adams, 72, of Steubenville, OH passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born October 31, 1943 in Olney, IL, he was a son of the late Charles Adams and Norma Holloway Adams Pulawski. With 30 years of service, Larry retired as a diesel mechanic from UPS. Larry was veteran of the United States Marine Corp, a private pilot, member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, a HAM operator and enjoyed remote controlled aircrafts. He and Betty enjoyed boating, and riding motorcycles. He is survived by the love of his life Elizabeth "Betty" Moore of Steubenville; brother, Thomas (Susan) Adams and sister, Carol Adams Cross all of Weirton. He also leaves a second love, his German Shepherd Moike Visitation will be held Thursday 9:00 until the 10:00 AM service at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with military honors being conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard and the United States Marine Corp. Memorial contributions may be made to Jefferson County Humane Society, 200 Air Park Drive, Wintersville, OH 43953.
