Laura Kathleen Tucker

Laura Kathleen Tucker, 76, of Weirton, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at her residence. She was born in Rockford, WV a daughter of the late Glen Young and Lucille (Snyder) Young of Escondido, CA.
Laura was a homemaker. She was Methodist by faith and was a member of A.A.R.P.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, James R. Tucker; two sons, James Tucker and his wife Mary Ann, of New Cumberland; and Tim Tucker and his wife Donna of Weirton, WV. Laura is also survived by three sisters; Eileen Cool and her husband Rev. James Cool of Lincolnton, NC; Glenna Jean Bobbio of Escondido, CA and Priscilla Galvin and her husband Lee of San Marcos, CA; four grandchildren, Tiffany, Jamie, Shannon, and Erin; and nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held 2-4 and 7-9 PM Monday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday. Rev. James Cool will officiate.
Interment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV

Donna & Tim, I am so sorry about the loss of your mother. I enjoyed the time I spent with her as a hospice volunteer, and I think that my visit did her some good. Your family will be in my prayers. I will be out of town this weekend, and won’t be back until late Tuesday, so I won’t be able to make it to the visitation, or funeral. Please accept my sympathy…..Kathy Fodor
