Guestbook

  1. Jesse and family, We will miss Laura as our neighbor. She was so kind, so full of life and always on the go! She enjoyed whenever we would have a neighborhood cookout or party. May the happy memories help to comfort you through this difficult time. God bless all of you. Hugs and prayers, Melanie, Chris, Levi and Paige Donofe

  2. May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

  3. Laura and my dad, John Porec, worked together in the Sheet Mill. Laura’s friendliness won my dad over right away! He loved to hear her stories about her farm, wine making, and her family. She invited my parents to her home to tour her farm and fed them a wonderful dinner. She also gave them some homemade wine. That Christmas my dad had a few glasses of her wine and got snockered! My mom had made some sausage sandwiches, which my dad loved, for dinner. He was trying to pick up his sandwich and he couldn’t do it! He said, “My hands are numb!” Laura’s wine did him in! He was sent to bed! We have enjoyed telling that story over the years. So sorry for your loss. Laura was a great person and I know she will be missed! God bless.

  4. From the Italian family. Zia Laurina, you were a wonderful and strong woman, we’ll always remember you! Ciao Zia Laurina.
