Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends. Alpert was a long time friend and will be sorely missed. His friendship was greatly cherished. I will remember him always, and with fondness.

  2. I am so sad to hear about your father. He was one of my father’s dearest and oldest friends. I’ve heard a million “Zal” stories over the years. My father and I had dinner or breakfast with you dad once a year over the last ten years when he and I visit . I just had dinner with your dad in October. At the end of dinner he had secretly picked up the tab for a group of his friends at the next table. He was such a wonderful and generous man, and I always have loved my “Uncle Lenny” time. My father is so sad, and I know he would like to reach out to you , but we need your address. Know that we are thinking of you and your dad at this difficult time. Paula Levendorf Goldsmith

  3. To family of Leonard Alpert: So sorry to hear of Mr. Alpert’s death. He was my family attorney for years. What a brilliant and compassionate man we always found him to be! We pray God’s comfort in your loss. Sincerely, James and Delores King Weirton
