Leroy D. Kirkpatrick 65 of Colliers, WV passed away October 22, 2006 at the Palliative Care Center in Steubenville, OH. He was born April 3, 1941 in Wheat, WV the son of the late Dwayne V. and Jessie Yoho Kirkpatrick. Leroy retired from the Weirton Steel Co. in July of 1997 where he was a machinist in the Machine Shop. He also worked at the Weirton Medical Center for three years in housekeeping. He is survived by his wife Charlotte Sue Cain Kirkpatrick of Colliers, WV; sons Dwayne, David and his wife Jenny both of Colliers, WV and Robert and his wife Nikki of Follansbee, WV; brothers Lonnie and Larry Kirkpatrick both of Colliers, WV and Donnie Kirkpatrick of Newell, WV; sister Linda Huynh of Weirton, WV; granddaughter Kaylee Kirkpatrick, step grandson Kevin Childers, and a very special friend Frank Zirkle. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8PM and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV. Leroy will lie in state from 10-11AM the time of service at the Colliers United Methodist Church in Colliers, WV. Pastor Tom Deane will officiate.
