linda sikora
Linda Marie Sikora, formerly of Weirton, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020, in the care of Lakin Hospital in West Columbia, West Virginia. She was 71 years old. She was born in Steubenville on August 21, 1949, the oldest of five children to the late Walter and Helen Marie Skovran Sikora. Linda was the most likable individual you had ever met. Her love of family and music made her so enjoyable to be around. It was not uncommon for her to burst into song and dance, immediately putting smiles on everyone’s faces. One of her pastimes that she cherished was attending rummage sales with her mother. She also enjoyed collecting old jewelry and making sandwiches. Her brother Daniel said, “she made the best sandwiches.” Left to cherish Linda’s memory are her brothers, Daniel (Carolee) Sikora, Mark (Diana) Sikora, all of Weirton, and David (Valerie) Sikora of Columbia, Maryland, sister Valerie (Gary) Means of Fairmont, West Virginia, and several nieces and nephews. Family visitation will be private. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 am Friday, November 13, 2020, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Babu Joseph Elamturuthil will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Weirton. Share tributes and memories at www.grecohertnick.com 304-748-3219

  2. I have worked at Lakin Hospital for 16 years and Linda brought so much joy to my workday. She called me”Pamela” from the 1st day we met. We would sit and sing together and most times she would make up the words as she sang along. She loved pizza and staff would always share with her our dinner. I loved Linda so much and she will be missed by all of us who had the privilege to care for her. I am so sorry for your loss. Praying for strength and comfort for her family. Darlene Ash
