Lois Myers

Lois Myers, 84, of Follansbee, WV, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010. Born April 28, 1925 in Mingo Junction, OH, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Murtland Andrews. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Myers on August 17, 1999; sisters Marjorie Pinti and Cleda Archangel and brother Wesley Andrews.
Mrs. Myers worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Royal Pavillion and the former Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville. She also served as a supervisor for the Lamp Lighter on the River in Tampa, FL.
Lois is survived by her daughters Linda Makar of Weirton and Brenda Nichols and her husband Charles of Lutz, FL; sisters Sandra Andrews and Alma Cortez all of Steubenville; grandchildren Paul Makar of Hickory, PA, Dr. Jasmin Makar (Gavin Domm) of San Francisco, CA, Rikki Daugherty and Melissa Messer both of Lutz, FL; three great-grandchildren, Will and Samantha Domm of San Francisco, CA and Decker Parker of Lutz, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of her family at Union Cemetery, Steubenville, OH. Arrangements are under the guidance of Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.
