Lorena E. Anderson

Lorena E. Anderson, 85, of Weirton, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born October 30, 1933 in Brave, PA, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Kate Kent Cole. She was also preceded in death by her husband Paul Anderson; son Dennis Anderson; four brothers and one sister. Lorena worked maintenance at the WSX building and at the Pittsburgh Airport. She was also the former owner of Andersons Beauty Shop in Paris, PA. She belonged to The Colliers First Church of God. She enjoyed bowing and belonged to several leagues. She was a member of the Brave Fire Company, Civil Defense and the Auxiliary Policeman. She also enjoyed crafts, sewing and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lorena is survived by her son Donald Anderson and his wife Sandy of Weirton and her grandchildren Paul Anderson and his fiancé Julie Orangeo and Kirsten Taylor and her husband William. Friends will be received on Sunday from 3-7PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 PM. Pastor Eric Spencer will officiate.
