  4. Kenny, I am so saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. She was such a kind person. I fondly remember her from when I was a student at Weirton Heights Elementary way back when. I have this one vivid memory of her from when I was in the first grade. I kept telling my teacher that my ear was hurting and she wouldn’t listen to me. At lunch time I was standing in line to get my lunch and I was crying because my ear was hurting so badly. Your mom came up to me and asked if I was ok. When I said no and told her what was wrong, she took me straight to the office, called my mom and sat with me the whole time trying to soothe me until my mom got to school to pick me up. Your mom put some cotton in my ear and had me sit with my ear against her to keep it warm to try and ease the pain. She was so caring, She will be missed. Love and prayers to you and your family during this your time of loss. Love, Denise (Buckley) Krofcheck
