Maria Pia Pucci, 76, of Weirton, WV, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born February 14, 1940, in Livorno, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Aldo and Francesca (Tallani) Rossi. She is also preceded in death by her husband Dominic T. Pucci, Jr., son Dominic T. Puccci, III, granddaughter Sarah Smalley and brother Luigi Rossi.
Maria treasured spending time with her family. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading, gardening and puzzle books. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church and the Italian Sons and Daughters of America.
She is survived by her son Dr. Aldo (Sandy) Pucci; daughter Mariella (Hobie) Smalley; daughter-in-law Mindy Pucci; grandchildren Aldo Pucci, Jr., Jessica Smalley and her fianc Travis Robinson, Maria (Trevor) Cain and Dominic Pucci, IV, all of Weirton; sister Anna (Giorgio) Dari of Livorno Italy.
Friends will be received Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 12 Noon at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Reverend Father Anthony Thurston will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.

She was a wonderful lady who will be missed and forever remembered by all who knew her. She was so rarely without her dear husband, that I always pictured them together,May she rest now in peace in his loving arms.
