Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Marie. I had taken care of her at the nursing home. I loved hearing her stories of how much she loved her family. May God’s blessings surround you all and his everlasting love be in your hearts with all the cherished memories of Marie. God be with you all. My sincere condolences, Doreen Prevost CNA at Weirton Geriatric Center

  2. From the time our family moved onto South Circle Drive in 1965, we were “neighbors.” To go to school, we passed your home and we shared warm greetings. Our mothers were in the neighborhood card club and every Easter our table had some of those special chocolate eggs your mother made with others at your church in their annual Easter Candy fundraiser. Your mother was a sewing expert and your father a great craftsman who were more than willing to share their joy in these talents to teach us some additional skills. The Gurskey’s are good people and your parents are certainly enjoying God’s presence in Heaven. As you grieve the loss of your mother, please know of my prayers and heartfelt sympathy. God bless you all!

  3. Many found memories of growing up on South Circle Drive with the Gurskey family in the neighborhood are triggered by seeing this notice of Marie’s passing. They were good friends of the family and good people all around. Special sympathy to our contemporary, Mike Gurskey, as you gather to celebrate Mom’s life and take her to her final earthly resting place. May God Bless Marie and everyone who loves her!

  4. With sadness may Aunt Marie’s pain be gone, many fond memories I have, the summers visiting as a young child playing with all my cousins and as the years went by staying in touch I felt a closeness that I will never forget. My daughter Kelly even remembers her visit as a young child. Julie and Michael will also remember you. Thank You so much for coming back to Allentown often, the love, forever in my heart.

  5. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. My heart goes out to the family. Death is something we will never get use to. In fact, God’s Word refers to death as an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26). It is comforting to know that very soon our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah, will remove death once and for all and give us the opportunity to see our loved ones again here on the earth.
