Mario Bellisario
March 13, 1927 ~ June 20, 2018
Mario Bellisario, 91, of Weirton passed away Wednesday June 20, 2018 at his home. Born March 13, 1927 in Sora Province of Frosinone, Italy, he was the son of the late Fillipo and Maria (Petricca) Bellisario.
Mario worked as a welder at WSX and repaired lawn mowers on the side.
He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church.
Mario is survived by his wife Olga Bellisario; son Rom (Linda) Bellisario of Weirton; daughters Yolanda Pekarscik of Florida and Rita (Athanasios) Chaliotis of Weirton; grandchildren Michael (Debbie) Bellisario, Steven Bellisario, Giuseppe (Rachel) Magnone, Angela (Kyle) Farmer, Christina (James) Paladina and Stefani (Alfred) Tornay and great-grandchildren Joseph and Mia Magnone, Ty Lyon, Matthew Bellisario, Giana Paladina, Ryan Bellisario and Rocco Magnone.
Friends will be received on Friday from 4-8PM at the Greco Hertinick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church.
Entombment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.

My prayers with the at this time of sorrow. I worked with Mario at the Sinter Plant. He will be missed by all who knew him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. I met Mario a few years ago and always enjoyed our talks, especially in Italian. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
