Marjorie Mae “Marge” DeFilippis of Weirton, a loving wife, mother, and nana passed away at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH on February 23, 2022, after almost a two-year battle with cancer. She was 83. Marjorie was born in Wellsburg, WV on November 28,1938 to Stanley and Mary Soffkova Pustovarh. On November 24, 1956, she married Joseph F. DeFilippis. In their sixty-five plus years of marriage they were blessed with three children, three grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Joe worked at Weirton Steel and Marge took care of their home. Her husband and sons describe her as the best mom ever. Marge enjoyed going to garage sales, playing BINGO and crocheting. She looked forward to the many family vacations she enjoyed over the years. One of her favorites spots was Las Vegas Nevada. Marge nourished her faith at Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Marge was preceded in death by her daughter in law, Mary DeFilippis on September 20, 2019. She is survived by her husband, Joseph F. DeFilippis, Sr.; two sons, Joseph F. DeFilippis, Jr.; and Dino DeFilippis (Jodi); and a daughter, Carolyn Donkin; a brother, Stanley Pustovarh; and three grandchildren, Joseph DeFilippis III, Jason Donkin, and Julie Provencher. A private visitation and funeral were held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Monsignor Joseph Peterson presided. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Valley Hospice Care Center North, Dr Christopher Cowher, Dr M.
