Marleen Lorello, 74, of Weirton passed away, at her home, on March 15, 2014.
Born on January 9, 1940, in Craigsville, WV, Marleen was a daughter of the late Isaac and Kathleen Black Barker. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Barker.
Marleen was formerly employed at My Florist in Weirton for 15 years. She was an avid reader and will always be remembered for the love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Louis F. Lorello, Jr.; a son, David and Fran Mallicone; four daughters, Jenny Mallicone Slates, Alesia Mallicone Rice and her husband Bill; Renee Mallicone and Nanette Mallicone DeVecchis all of Weirton; four brothers, Charles and Edgar Barker, Howard Ballew and Randy Blake; a sister, Yovanna Barker Hale; nine grandchildren, Amanda and Hailey Rice, Tanner Games, Cole Slates, Manuel Mallicone, Nik Martin, Isaac Ocelus, Gianna DeVecchis, and Willow Berry; three great granddaughters, Taelor, and Kendall McGraw and Alika Donnell.
At Marleen's request there will be no viewing and her body will be cremated. All friends and relatives are invited to a celebration of her life service, to be held, in the downstairs of the Victorian Hall/ Bubba's Tavern Weirton, 4 PM Wednesday.
Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to the Weirton Area Ambulance and Rescue Squad 1305 Pennsylvania Avenue Weirton, WV 26062.

My Aunt Marleen will be missed terribly. She was one for always wanting to feed you. And what a wonderful cook she was too!! She and i shared our love for reading!
