Mary C. Warzynski, 85, of Weirton, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born November 20, 1924 in Weirton, she was a daughter of the late Pete and Mildred Yurcich Boyle. She was also preceded in death by her husband Frank L. Warzynski on May 28, 1995, daughter Barbara Warzynski and sister Catherine Bujan. For 15 years, Mary was a laundry worker for the Weirton Geriatric Center. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, the Ohio Valley Christian Center, and the Hancock County Senior Center. Mrs. Warzynski is survived by her son Pete Warzynski and his wife Barbara of Weirton; daughter Mary Ann June and her husband Tom of Toronto, OH; granddaughters Melissa Warzynski and Hallie D. June; two nieces and two nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Pastor Gary Lilly will have an evening service Friday at 6:00PM in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Saturday at Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Kent Durig and Pastor Gary Lilly will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 200 Preston Avenue, Weirton, WV 26062.

  5. Peter & Mary Ann: You may not remember me but I lived on Colliers Way and was good friends with your sister Barbara. Your mom was such a sweet person and so friendly. Our mothers were also friends and my mom used to say how nice your mom was. Be assured your mom is in the arms of the Lord now and happy. May she rest in peace.
