Mary Canei Semenick

Mary Canei Semenick of Weirton passed away on January 7, 2007, at the Valley Hospice Palliative care Unit in Steubenville, OH. She was born on March 7, 1916, in Hartsthorne, OK, the daughter of the late Angelo and Julia Favero Canei. Mary was also preceded in death by her son, Gary G. Semenick; her brothers, Valentino, Fred, George, and Angelo Canei; her sister, Augusta Angelini Testaguzza Mary retired from National Steel with 38 years of service, and was a member of the 25 year club. Surviving are sons, Paul M. of Weirton, Angelo B. and his wife June Semenick of Elkins, WV; daughter, Victoria Angelini of Seattle, WA; daughter in law Linda McCartney Semenick of Weirton, WV; sister, Enreketta Tagliente of Solon, OH; sister in law, Marge Canei of Weirton, WV; one grandson; two granddaughters; one great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Private funeral services will be held. Interment will follow at Saint Paul Cemetery.
