Mary Coen

Mary Coen, 65 of Weirton, died Monday at her residence. She was born June 6, 1935 in Weirton, WV, daughter of the late Nick and Margaret Principato Scarfo. Her husband James P. Coen also preceded her in death in 1993.
Mrs. Coen was a homemaker, member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, and the Christian Mothers
She is survived by two sons Jim Coen and his wife Linda of Steubenville, Ohio, Bill Coen of Weirton, WV, and one daughter Janine Szymanski and her husband David of Medina, Ohio. Four brothers, Joseph Scarfo of New Cumberland, Nick Scarfo of Southview, Pa, Roy and Frank Scarfo, both of Weirton, WV. Two sisters, Jeannette Mull and her husband Robert of Alliance, Ohio, Carmela Fehl and her husband Carl of McDonald, Pa. Three grandchildren, April and Michael Coen and Taylor Szymanski.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 7-9PM and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton, WV. There will be a vigil service Wednesday afternoon at 2:30PM in the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy with mass will be Thursday, 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church, Weirton, WV.
Interment will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Weirton, WV.
