Mary Frances Greathouse

Mary Frances Greathouse, 47 of Weirton, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2005 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born July 2, 1958 in Terre Haute, IN, she was the daughter of Edward Lasure of Florida and the late Kathleen Compton. She was also preceded by death by one son, Douglas Earl; one daughter, Marcia Lynn Greathouse; and her grandparents, Myrtle Mary (Swiger) Lasure, Hobert Brenney Lasure, Hershal Compton and Margaret (Zachary) Compton. Mary Frances was a homemaker and member of the Free Methodist Church. In addition to her father, her survivors include husband Duncan E. Greathouse, Sr., son Duncan E.Greathouse, Jr. both of Weirton; brothers Jack Lasure, Edward Lasure, Jr. and Aaron Lasure; sisters Sara Pittman (Greg), Carrie Brown, Jill Tice, Roxanna Williamson and Shanelle Gauding; brother-in-law Clyde Greathouse, Jr. (Shirley); sister-in-law Sissy Baker; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday from 9AM until the 11AM funeral services at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
